Water-rich environment

Sail vacation
From the Marinapark Oude-Tonge you sail directly onto the Krammer Volkerak with direct sailing connections to all South Holland, Zeeland and Brabant waters. All our water houses have their own mooring place for your (rented) boat.

Fish vacation
Marinapark Oude-Tonge is also the ideal location for a fishing holiday. For example, by boat you can sail within a few minutes to the west arm of the Krammer Volkerak, this is a beautiful part with islands and shallows where you can expect the fish. Large parts of the banks here are lined with stone walls. And precisely those stone fences and dams form beautiful fishing spots where fish forage. The Krammer, Volkerak and Zoommeer are known for their good fishing water. Not only predatory fishermen, but also white fishermen can make great catches here. With every bite there is the chance of that one record fish. It is precisely this unpredictability that makes fishing here so fascinating. The Volkerak is included in the national list of fishing waters. If you are in possession of a valid VISpas and you have the National & federative List of Fishing Waters with you, you can fish here.

A day of surfing or to the beach
At Ouddorp and the Brouwersdam you will find miles of wide sandy beaches and dunes. Ouddorp is located in the far west on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee, here you will find the most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands along the coast, almost 18 kilometers long such as Strand Noord, 't Flaauwe Werk and the beach along the Brouwersdam, with something for everyone. Let yourself be guided by the lighthouse, the Westhoofd, which you can see from afar and take a walk on the beach at Strand Vuurtoren.

For surfers, the Brouwersdam is the place to be. The eight kilometer long dam between Goeree-Overflakkee (South Holland) and Schouwen-Duiveland (Zeeland) - attracts tens of thousands of windsurfers every year.

Non-water sports enthusiast
The non-water sports enthusiast can also enjoy the wetland area, there are various salt and freshwater beaches, nature reserves, winding cycle paths and country roads that form the backdrop to a surprising landscape. Unique in its kind because three types of water come together in this area, the salt water of the Oosterschelde National Park, the brackish water of the Grevelingenmeer and the fresh water of the Krammer Volkerak.
